We are currently working on a 5-acre job for a landowner. The property contained some large pin oak trees, but the previous owner had used the place as a bit of a junk yard. We hauled away multiple loads of scrap and tires, and logged the mature timber. Next, we are planning to cut down invasive species. This will give the desirable oak seedlings a much better chance to thrive. We also plan to smooth the ground in places where the landowner would like lawn. We will prepare and plant a turkey foot shaped food plot. That will provide an ideal spot for the landowner to place his tree stand.
